A new experience for Pokemon fans is the new Game Boy Advance (GBA) game: This Gym of Mine. Pokemon fans will love the latest fan-made version in which you will not only improve your fighting skills and become the ultimate gym leader, but also help develop the town around your gym.
Also, be sure to try out Pokemon Quetzal.
Plot
To start, you choose your Gym’s Pokemon type and your signature Pokemon. You’ll meet Mayor Dalton, who will keep you updated on your progress and everything else in the game.
At the beginning of the game you take responsibility for “Umbal City”. You’re the newest gym leader in town, and honestly no one in town has anything nice to say about you as you begin your epic journey. Umbal City is in ruins because of the boss in front of you and it’s your job to improve the city’s condition.
Pokemon This Gym of Mine Complete Story Walkthrough
At the beginning you will notice that the townspeople are standing in front of empty lots. As you complete challenges and purchase blueprints, you can fill these lots, increasing your reputation as a Gym Leader and increasing the status of the city.
You must earn the city’s trust by improving the Gym’s status. You can only achieve this by winning battles and building. But beware: If you keep losing fights, you will be dismissed as the leader of the gym.
On the other hand, if you win battles against other trainers inside or outside your gym, your reputation will increase. As you keep winning battles and getting stronger in the game, you will be challenged by stronger Gym Bosses.
The stronger the challenger, the higher the reward in terms of reputation points.
Regarding v5.0.0
As for the information about v5.0.0, I encountered a big obstacle in the development. To make a long story short, I tried updating the game to Pokemon Essentials v20.1. I knew this would be a little risky since Pokemon This Gym of Mine runs on Pokemon Essentials v18.1. Lo and behold, I ran into a problem. When trying to load my save, an error occurred after compiling and my save file was deleted… I tried launching version 20.1 as a brand new game and there was no error message i.e. H. the problem occurs when I try to load the saved game.
I know I said I would go ahead with version 18.1 if previous saves weren’t compatible. However, there are still a number of reasons why I want to upgrade to v20.1 Essentials. So I decided to ask you guys how to proceed. In the end you have to play the game and wait for the update. That’s why I want to hear your opinion. The way I see it, there are three ways I can go about it:
- I can stay with version 18.1.
This doesn’t require any additional development time, but bugs like the weather and leveling issues will likely be permanent in the game. Also, I won’t be able to use the updated version 20.1 encounter opportunities, which means all new Pokemon will be limited to newly added areas, and the new Pokemon I add will be limited. Additionally, this may cause some Pokemon to be unnecessarily rare since I can’t change the encounter rates directly in the doc. - I commit to update to v20.1 and maintain an updated version of PTGOM 4.0 as a legacy version.
While this will require more development time, it will fix glitches like the weather glitch and the leveling glitch. Also, this will allow for more robust encounters, potentially balancing out types like Bug and Steel that were reported to be a bit underpowered. Also, I may consider allowing multiple save files as it’s very popular in the community to play multiple passes, which will make things easier. However, this means that this version will NOT be compatible with old save files. - I take this as an opportunity to completely revamp Pokemon This Gym of Mine.
Let’s face the facts. This game was developed in a big hurry 3 years ago by an amateur. There are a lot of things I had to rework just to make the game playable. Even with all the updates, there are still a lot of gaps, such as the insane amount of revenue buildings can generate, the fact that the point of reputation and reputation growth isn’t clear, some dialogue that needs a bit of refinement , and the fact that half the ranks of the game pass within a minute. I could see this as an opportunity to really improve this game. Among other things, I could rebalance the encounters and buildings and give ranks 5 to 7 a reason for their existence. Also, I could take care of plugins and resources such as: B. Multiple save files that can only be added in version 20.1. I personally would prefer to go that route, but it would take quite a bit of development time and wouldn’t be compatible with old save files. Just like Option 2, the old version of PTGOM will be maintained as a legacy version.
These are the three routes I feel I can go. No matter what, version 5.0.0 content will be included with the update and version 6.0.0 will come some time after. I want to see what you all think, and I am eager to hear your thoughts.

Notes:
It’s random chance that goes into deciding who you face at the Gym. I’ve done everything I could think of to keep it interesting and avoid repetition, but it may happen once in a while, especially early on. Also, some early-game Trainers get stronger if you leave them be. You can only fight each Trainer once, so make it count!
Finally, there is no barrier between areas. You can access areas containing Pokemon five times your strength straight out the gate!
Have fun you guys! Also Try Pokemon Tectonic.

how do i turn the google drive download into the actual from or the .gba file? I need the .gba file version
How can I play this on Mac? it says exclusively for PC, but is there an emulator that works on Mac to make the game playable? Would you consider opening up the game to Mac users?
This is a PC version. You may find a time hack online but this is not that.
Haven’t started the game yet, but from what I’ve seen so far, it looks really good and has a great charm. Since you asked for the community’s opinion regarding what route to take, I would say to follow with option 3, since it’s the one that you seem to prefer. Since I have yet to see everything on the game for myself, I can’t really say much, but I believe that if you see room for improvement and you’ll be satisfied once that improvement is achieved, you should go for it.
when i try to load game it gives me an error that says
” a dynamic link library (DLL) initialization routine failed”
is there something im missing? or pc issue?

The limitations on which pokemon are available makes it hard to find coverage. I’ve noticed that I have a bad weakness to flying types so I was looking for an electric or ice type that can learn the signature move for grass. Turns out they aren’t in the game. Games fine just feel it lacks in variety of what can be used.
So i did a play through using fighting type, initially it took me about 15mins to get down what areas are best to start in. After that it didnt take long to figure out.
once you get to gym level 3, it becomes much much easier due to the blissey trainer that shows up to help train. i spent the better part of 3 hours just leveling and collecting enough money to start making building. one i reach between lv 75 to 81 average for the group. i continued the story.
all in all fighting type took me about 10 hours to get through the story, build my city giving me over 1million in cash a day, and standing proud of only letting 2 trainers get badges, and that was early on.
however i do agree with the lack of pokemon in this game. there is alot, but to make a full fighting team without using a double of the same pokemon was impossible. i ended up with 2 machamps on my team due to this. outside of that. would love to see more added to it story wise in the future. most things revolved around the badlands, and not much on the right side of town.
all in all, really good game, and reccomend for anyone who wants to play pokemon slightly differently.
So….are you just not going to put the version for android up or?
You guys should Search up “Joiplay” That’s the way to play on mobile, it’s like an emulator
Woah, this is insane! I can’t believe you’ve created a Pokemon Gym in Minecraft! The graphics and design are incredible. I’ve always wanted to build something like this but I never had the skills. Your dedication and creativity are truly inspiring. Can’t wait to check it out and battle some Pokemon! 😃
